AN OFFERING OF LOVE
Kirtan Bliss Yoga is an offering from my heart to yours. Kirtan is a way to connect with the Lord immediately. These melodies have appeared spontaneously by the mercy of Sri Guru, Sri Sri Dayal Nitai Gauranga and Srimati Ananga Manjari. Whatever and whenever They desire to hear They have inspired me to sing. I have no qualification to present these, but I hope that you may be inspired to sing to the Lord to connect in love and feel the bliss that I feel.
The sound vibration when uttered by the tongue goes directly to the heart through the medium of hearing. The organs of mouth and ears are therefore connected and are a means of connection to the Lord . These holy names when sung as a mood of an offering to the Lord, a mood of surrender gives us bliss. The soul dances within….
We are eternal parts and parcels of the Lord. Like a spark of fire separated from the big giant fire ball, we are separated from our Lord. In the darkness of this hollow material world we are trying to find happiness. The craziness doesn’t stop there. We fall in the traps of Maya, the illusory energy of the Lord, and eternally keep roaming between the material and hellish planets, sometimes an ant and sometimes a demigod. This simple process of kirtan, which is singing the Lord’s holy names with love, is a means of freeing ourselves from the clutches of illusion Maya and stopping this process of birth and death. It’s a means of connecting, of linking with the Lord, a method of yoga practice if you will, to lead us to the Lotus feet of Sri Sri Radhe Shyam. A moment of remembrance of the Lord will free us, just a moment. These holy names are full of potency to purify our being. These names have the power to make the Lord appear in front of our very own eyes.
So please utilize this human birth and sing to your hearts delight, a call from your heart to the Lord’s heart. Utilize these melodies as an offering!
